Own the 'emergency plumber near me' map pack in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa and double after-hours call volume.

Emergency plumbing is a winner-takes-most local search. The first three results in the map pack take roughly 80% of the calls. RapidFlow has the response time and the reviews; the profile is what's holding back rankings.

Location
Phoenix, AZ (serving the East Valley)
Target
Double after-hours emergency calls within 90 days
Timeline
4-5 weeks

/ executive summary

RapidFlow Plumbing scores 51/100. Strong reviews (4.7/178) and 24/7 dispatch already in place, but the profile is configured as a storefront when it should be configured as a Service-Area Business. Service areas aren't defined, key emergency categories aren't selected, and the photo set is mostly truck shots. Fixing the service-area structure alone will surface the profile in three additional ZIP codes overnight.

/ market context

The Phoenix metro area generates 26,000+ monthly searches for plumber-related emergency terms. After-hours searches (8pm–6am) spike 3x in summer when slab leaks and AC condensate failures peak. East Valley competition is fragmented across 40+ small operators.

/ why now

Two of the top three current map-pack winners in Tempe haven't updated their profiles in over a year. A focused 30-day push positions RapidFlow ahead of monsoon season — the highest-margin emergency window of the year.

Hector Vasquez founded the company in 2016 after 12 years as a journeyman plumber and four years in the Marine Corps. The crew runs five trucks dispatched from a South Phoenix yard, with average response times of 38 minutes during business hours and 55 minutes after midnight. We specialize in slab leak detection and repair, sewer line camera inspection and trenchless replacement, water heater installation (tank and tankless), drain clearing, and gas line repair. Free written estimates on every job. Licensed and bonded with the Arizona ROC (CR-37 #338214), fully insured. Same-day appointments most weekdays.

FAQpost 01

How Do I Know If I Have a Slab Leak?

Slab leaks are a Phoenix specialty because of our soil movement and the age of the copper used in 1980s-2000s construction. Three signs to watch for: 1) a hot spot on a tile or wood floor that wasn't there a week ago, 2) the sound of water running when every fixture is off, 3) an unexplained jump on your monthly water bill. If you see any of these, shut the main valve and call us. We use electronic and acoustic detection to pinpoint the leak before any concrete is opened — most repairs end up being a small access cut, not a whole-room demo. Diagnosis is $189 flat; we apply it to the repair if you proceed.

Summer Dispatch: Average Response Time Now 38 Minutes

We added a fifth truck and a second night dispatcher this month. Average response time across metro Phoenix is now 38 minutes during the day and 55 minutes between midnight and 6am. We're holding 'no after-hours surcharge before midnight' for the rest of summer — the price of the job is the price of the job, no matter what time you call. Monsoon season tends to spike slab leaks and condensate clogs; we recommend snapping a photo of where your main shutoff is now, before you need it. Tap-to-call from the profile or text us at the dispatch line.

$40 Off Drain Clearing Through October

Mention this Google post and any cabled drain clearing is $40 off through October 31. Kitchen sink, bathroom sink, tub, or main line — same discount. Applies to standard cabling (up to 75 feet). Hydro-jetting, camera inspections and root removal are separate services and aren't covered by this offer. One drain per visit, but you can use it during emergency hours. We'll honor it on the invoice — no coupon, no signup, just tell the tech when they arrive.

FAQpost 04

Tank or Tankless Water Heater in Phoenix?

For most Phoenix homes 2,000 sq ft and under, a high-efficiency 50-gallon tank is still the better value — install is faster, the unit lasts 8–12 years, and our hard water is rough on tankless heat exchangers without proper softening. For homes over 2,500 sq ft, families that run two showers at once, or anyone planning to stay 12+ years, a tankless (with a softener loop) makes sense. We stock Bradford White tanks and Rinnai/Navien tankless on our trucks and can usually do same-day install. We'll give you the honest answer for your home, not the upsell.

Now Serving Queen Creek and San Tan Valley

We've extended dispatch to Queen Creek (85142) and San Tan Valley (85140, 85143) as of this week. Response times to the southeast valley will be 55–75 minutes during the day and slightly longer overnight while we route the new area. Same pricing, same crews, same 24/7 dispatch. If you're in Queen Creek and you've called us before, we owe you a thank-you for being patient while we built out the route.

Free Slab Leak Inspections for Ahwatukee Homeowners — November 9

Saturday November 9, from 9am to 1pm, we're offering free 30-minute slab leak inspections for any single-family home in Ahwatukee built before 2005. No charge, no obligation, no upsell — we'll spend a half-hour walking your home with leak detection gear and give you a written summary. This is for homes only (no condos or rentals), and we're booking 12 slots. Phoenix soil moves more than people think; we'd rather catch the small leak that hasn't shown up on a bill yet.

Hi {firstName}, thanks for trusting RapidFlow with the {service} job at {address}. If the crew did right by you, a quick line on Google really helps — most of our work comes from neighbors finding us there. Here's the link: {reviewLink}. — Hector

sms ask

Hi {firstName}, Hector at RapidFlow. Thanks for the call yesterday. If we earned it, a Google review goes a long way for a small crew: {reviewLink}

in-person ask

If everything went well today and you've got 30 seconds, the best thing you can do for us is a quick Google review. The tech will text you the link before he leaves — only if it was a good job.

★★★★★Slab leak fixed overnight, customer impressed by communication.

Thank you, Dave. Marcus ran point on your job and he'll be glad you mentioned the texts — we drilled into the crew this year that updates every 30 minutes matter more than perfect ETAs. Glad we caught the leak before it hit the drywall. Call us anytime.

★★★★Great work, but invoice arrived a week after the visit.

Thanks for the note, Karen. A week to invoice is too long and that's a back-office failure, not on the crew. Tasha is rolling out same-day invoicing by SMS starting next month — should be invoice in your inbox before the truck leaves the curb. Sorry about the friction, and we appreciate the patience.

★★★★★Job done correctly, but the customer felt the estimate process was confusing.

Hi Brian, thank you for being honest. A confusing estimate is a confusing estimate, and it's on us to fix that. We just rolled out a one-page written estimate with a clear scope and a fixed price — no line items the customer can't parse. I'd like to mail you a copy of the new form and walk you through it. Email hector@rapidflowaz.com and I'll personally follow up.

★★★★★Technician was late, kept the customer waiting past the window.

Linda, missing the window without a call is the one thing we won't tolerate from our crews. The dispatcher should have looped you in by 4pm at the latest. I've talked with the tech and the dispatcher who took your job. I'd like to credit your account for the visit. Please email hector@rapidflowaz.com and we'll make it right.

★★★★Customer claims the repair didn't hold and they were charged for a re-visit.

Mr. Patel, I'm sorry. A repair that doesn't hold is on us, and you shouldn't have been charged for a re-visit on the same issue. Please email hector@rapidflowaz.com with your invoice number and I'll pull the work order today, refund the re-visit, and send a senior tech out at no charge to verify the original fix. — Hector Vasquez, Owner
